Are you wondering what the benefits and drawbacks are to working remotely? Have you wanted to work remotely? Are you working remotely already and trying to figure out if you should head back into the office?
If you answered yes to any of these questions that is perfect because you are going to learn some of the benefits and drawbacks of working remotely.
The Benefits to Working Remote:
~ There's very little dress code.
~ You have the capability to potentially work from anywhere.
~ You are capable to have flexible working hours.
~ There is the possibility that you will save money.
~ The opportunity for fewer coworker distractions.
~ You have the opportunity for a lot of communication between your company.
These benefits are great however sometimes benefits are also drawbacks as well.
The not so benefits of working remotely:
~ You always have to make sure you are "office-ready" if you have a video meeting.
~ Working from anywhere is great however comes the issue of the upload and download speeds of where you are and if you are in a public space the issue of possible hacking.
~ Flexible hours are great but most of the time your "flexible hours" have to be within the company production hours.
~ You have the ability to save money on gas and auto insurance however your internet and electricity bill will most likely go up in cost.
~ Not being in the same building as coworkers is great their is fewer distractions of walking by your station or in the break room, however, you do have the distraction of your family or even social media.
~Working remote most companies need to communicate every day with different changes or policies, however with communication between coworkers that may be hard if they are not fluent in your language.
